What's this we've been hearing about both parties looking for women candidates this year, at least for council seats? Talk about change in the year of our state's centennial for women's suffrage.

That strange case between Mamakating brothers involving charges that Sullivan County Court Judge Frank LaBuda had intentionally run over his brother Peter with an ATV have been cleared. Back to bigger issues, everyone... nothing to see here!

Ulster County Executive Michael P. Hein signed an executive order for a report on public health impacts of the Obamacare repeal going on down in Washington. Consider the election seasons started for local races this year and congressional/state battles next! As well as the new push to create an odorless solid waste plant somewhere within Ulster borders...

A new statewide Plastic Bag Task Force has been launched to develop a uniform and equitable statewide plan to address New York's plastic bag problem. Could someone up in the state capitol be reading Marbletown agendas?
